Michael Møller in four day test at Cartagena Circuit.

After a successful debut in The CEV Superbike championship in 2014, Michael Møller Pedersen is now planning to run this year in the new “FIM CEV European Superbike Championship”.

As a part of the preparation of the season, Michael is making a four days test at Cartagena Cirquit in spain from 26th to 29th of january, to test with different bikes and teams.

Briefing with H43 team owner Manuel Hernandez at Valencia.

The goal for this test is to find the more competitive package for the championship.
- “in 2014 it was pretty clear that I didn’t have the fastest bike in the class, but I also learned that it is necessary to work much more detailed with the electronics of the bike than I have ever imagined. Therefore I want to find a solution for this year, which offers the technical knowledge that I don’t have myself, and a faster bike so I don’t have to fight 110% every lap to be 4-5 seconds off the leaders.”

A new and very important change in the championship for 2015 is the mono-brand tyre rule. This I meaning that every rider have to use the Michelin Superbike tyres, and in limited quantities.

The last 4 years, Michael have been using Pirelli tyres, and have all his experience with this manufacturer.
- “I have never tried the Michelin tyres, so I don’t know how the bike will behave on those. But important for me is that there will be no factory/prototype riders this year, and hopefully this will eliminate I bit of the gap I have to the front runners.”

It is still to be decided if Michael will also test the Michelin tyres at the Cartagena Test.
