Race Update - Barcelona

First Race with the New 2015 Aprilia

This weekend in Barcelona marked the first race with the new 2015 bike from Aprilia.

After a short test in Almeria, the team went to Barcelona, hoping for further progress with the bike.

Following some challenging practice sessions and qualifying, Michael started the race from 19th position on the grid and finished in 17th place.

Michael: "For me, this weekend was very disappointing, but we now understand more about the bike and have a few things we need to study and improve for the next race. Obviously, we need more kilometers to fully grasp this bike and the new tires."

Next Race

The next race is scheduled for Motorland Aragon from July 3rd to 5th.
