Raised clip-ons Ø 45 mm, R type, are aimed at riders who want a sport-focused setup but do not want the lowest and most extreme riding position of a classic Sport version. The R type lifts the cockpit higher, giving a friendlier riding position without taking away the bike’s sporty character or steering precision. It is a strong option for fast road riding, trackdays and track use where the rider wants a better balance between sport and usability. The clip-ons are CNC-machined from hardened EN AW 6082 aluminium. The +28 mm raised design changes bar position and overall cockpit feel, moving it towards a more natural and less cramped riding posture. The 10° bar angle keeps the sporty layout and clear steering feel even when riding harder. For the 45 mm clamp diameter, the resulting offset is 48 mm. The usable tube length for controls, grips and related components is 245 mm. Black anodising and laser marking complete a setup designed around precision, function and long-term use. Another practical advantage is the quick replacement of a damaged bar tube after a crash without having to replace the full set. Spare parts are available immediately, including individual components. With universal clip-ons, fitment cannot be guaranteed for every motorcycle based only on the fork tube diameter. Proper installation and function can also be affected by the thickness of the upper triple clamp, the position of switchgear, the brake fluid reservoir, the fairing or other surrounding parts. In some cases, certain components may need to be repositioned or adjusted so the clip-ons can work correctly. Because these clip-ons are universal in design, full compatibility across all motorcycle models cannot be guaranteed. The R type suits riders who want sporty clip-ons but prefer a higher bar position and a less aggressive riding posture than a classic low setup. It is a good choice for bikes where sporty steering feel still matters, but rider comfort and usable ergonomics matter more than the absolute lowest bar position. R type clip-ons are built as a raised design with fixed geometry.
