RACE CONCEPT for the Aprilia RS 660 and Tuono 660 (2021-) in reverse shift configuration is built for riders who want a sharper, more race-focused setup without giving away mechanical precision or control. On both the RS 660 and Tuono 660, switching to a reverse shift pattern makes real sense in faster riding and on track, where cleaner gear changes in lean, stronger foot support and more precise body movement are immediately noticeable. This is exactly where the key PP Tuning advantage comes in. Reverse shift works without ECU flashing, without map changes and without any modification to the quickshifter electronics. The solution is built mechanically, not electronically, and it has been tested in real use. The quickshifter remains functional, the shift pattern changes to reverse, and there is no need for additional electronic intervention. That makes this rear set an exceptionally strong solution for the Aprilia 660 platform. Compared to the stock footrests, RACE CONCEPT delivers firmer support, a more secure foot position and clearer feedback from the bike under braking, corner entry and acceleration. The set helps stabilise the rider at a harder pace, supports active movement on the bike and gives more confidence when fast, accurate inputs matter most. The construction uses high-strength EN AW-7075 T6 aluminium, hard anodising, laser marking and TORX bolts in high-tensile steel. Both brake and shift levers run on a pair of double-sealed 22 mm bearings, giving exceptionally smooth and accurate action even under intense use. Independent lever adjustment is standard, so both controls can be tuned to suit boot size and rider preference. The footpegs use an anti-slip profile proven in EWC / 24h Le Mans endurance racing, giving secure grip even in the wet and under aggressive riding. Another major practical benefit is full compatibility with the stock brake light switch and quickshifter, even with the reverse shift layout. Colour personalisation, optional folding toe pegs and the Unbreakable Guarantee complete the package.
