The RACE CONCEPT rear set for the MV Agusta F4 / Brutale B4 1090 RR (1999-2013) in reverse / GP shift configuration is designed for riders who want a sharper, more sport-focused shift pattern without sacrificing support or precision. On both of these models, GP shift makes a lot of sense once the pace rises, the bike is being worked harder at lean and the rider wants cleaner foot movement during loaded upshifts. The F4 benefits from this mainly in more track-focused riding and precise corner work, while the Brutale adds a more aggressive response under acceleration and a greater demand for control in hard road use. The set offers 9 adjustment positions from 10 to 35 mm upward and rearward, making it possible to tune the riding position around rider size, use case and preferred body position. It also includes 4 lever-length settings, helping match the controls to boot size and improving precision at both brake and shift input. On a sport-oriented MV Agusta, details like this are easy to feel because the chassis responds quickly and directly to lower-body input. Technically, this is a full RACE CONCEPT package. All components are CNC-machined from high-strength EN AW-7075 T6 aluminium alloy, the levers are fitted with ball bearings for smooth and accurate response, and the whole assembly uses high-strength TORX fasteners. Hard anodised finish improves surface durability, laser marking reinforces the technical identity of the parts, and the anti-slip peg profile helps maintain solid grip during hard riding. The rear set also supports colour personalization through interchangeable protective fins, footpegs and brake and shift lever-end parts. A folding toe piece for both brake and shift can be purchased separately. The set does not include a brake light switch, so if brake light function is required, we recommend adding a hydraulic pressure switch.
