The PP Tuning RACE CONCEPT rear set for the KTM RC8 / RC8 R (2008-2017) in OEM shift configuration is designed for a litre-class V-twin supersport where strong rider support, braking confidence and direct rider-to-bike connection are all essential. The RC8 has a very specific character and works best when the rider is positioned properly, has solid foot support and can move naturally with the bike on corner entry, at lean and on corner exit. This version keeps the standard / stock shift pattern, making it the right choice for riders who want sharper ergonomics and cleaner control feel without changing the familiar shift layout. Compared with the original footpegs, the set brings more readable lever feedback, better support during aggressive riding and more opportunity to fine-tune body position without compromising the stiffness of the assembly. On the RC8, that combination matters because the bike reacts strongly to body input and the precision of its contact points. The construction follows the standard of the RACE CONCEPT line. All components are CNC-machined from high-strength EN AW-7075 T6 aluminium alloy, both brake and shift levers run on ball bearings for precise response, and the reach of both levers can be adjusted independently to match boot size and riding style. The full assembly uses high-strength steel TORX fasteners, laser marking and a hard anodised finish for long-term durability in regular sport use. The technical anti-slip peg profile helps keep the rider’s boot secure at lean, and an optional folding toe piece upgrade is available for both brake and shift. The linkage also supports colour personalization through interchangeable protective fins, footpegs and lever-end parts. If brake light function is required, a hydraulic brake pressure switch must be purchased separately, because the set does not include a brake light activation mechanism.
