Beskrivelse fra leverandøren (engelsk)

Clip-ons Ø 55 mm, AG type, are designed for riders who want sport-focused clip-ons with the option to fine-tune the final bar angle to suit their own preference. Compared with fixed versions, they give more room to adjust ergonomics, hand position and overall cockpit feel without moving to a raised configuration. The 55 mm clamp diameter is especially relevant for the BMW S1000RR from 2009 onwards. In practice, this size is closely associated with the S1000RR platform, and the AG type gives riders the option to adjust bar angle without changing the core cockpit height. That is especially useful where the goal is to keep a compact sport riding position while refining the final steering feel and hand angle. The AG type works especially well for fast road riding, trackdays and circuit use. The adjustable 6–12° bar angle allows the final setup to be matched more closely to riding style, body proportions and the specific bike build. That makes it easier to create a cockpit that feels more natural, more controlled and more predictable in sporty riding. The clip-ons are CNC-machined from hardened EN AW 6082 aluminium. For the 55 mm clamp diameter, the resulting offset is 44 mm. The usable tube length for controls, grips and related components is 242 mm. Black anodising and laser marking complete a setup designed around precision, function and long-term use. Another practical advantage is the quick replacement of a damaged bar tube after a crash without needing to replace the full set. Spare parts are available immediately, including individual components. With universal clip-ons, fitment cannot be guaranteed for every motorcycle based only on the fork tube diameter. Proper installation and function can also be affected by the thickness of the upper triple clamp, the position of switchgear, the brake fluid reservoir, the fairing or other surrounding parts. In some cases, certain components may need to be repositioned or adjusted so the clip-ons can work correctly. Because these clip-ons are universal in design, full compatibility across all motorcycle models cannot be guaranteed. The AG type suits riders who want adjustable bar angle but do not need a raised clip-on version. In the 55 mm size, it is especially relevant for the BMW S1000RR range, where a more precisely tuneable cockpit can make a real difference. AG type clip-ons are built as a version with adjustable bar angle. When choosing the correct version, it is important to consider not only clamp diameter but also final offset, angle range and the available space around the fairing, reservoirs and upper triple clamp area. If crash damage occurs, individual replacement parts are available without needing to buy a complete new set.
