Raised clip-ons Ø 55 mm, R type, are designed for riders who want sport-focused clip-ons but do not want the lowest and most extreme riding position of a classic Sport version. The R type lifts the cockpit higher and creates a more open riding position that works better for fast road riding, trackdays and track use, while still keeping the bike’s sporty character intact. The clip-ons are CNC-machined from hardened EN AW 6082 aluminium. The +28 mm raised design changes bar height and overall cockpit feel towards a more usable and less cramped riding posture without losing the bike’s sporty steering character. The 10° bar angle helps maintain a natural hand position and clear control even when the pace rises. For the 55 mm clamp diameter, the resulting offset is 53 mm. The usable tube length for controls, grips and related components is 245 mm. Black anodising and laser marking complete a setup designed around precision, function and long-term use. Another practical advantage is the quick replacement of a damaged bar tube after a crash without needing to replace the full set. Spare parts are available immediately, including individual components. With universal clip-ons, fitment cannot be guaranteed for every motorcycle based only on the fork tube diameter. Proper installation and function can also be affected by the thickness of the upper triple clamp, the position of switchgear, the brake fluid reservoir, the fairing or other surrounding parts. In some cases, certain components may need to be repositioned or adjusted so the clip-ons can work correctly. Because these clip-ons are universal in design, full compatibility across all motorcycle models cannot be guaranteed. The R type suits riders who want sporty clip-ons but prefer a higher bar position and a less radical riding posture than a classic low setup. In the 55 mm size, it is a strong option for bikes where sporty handling still matters, but a more usable cockpit is just as important.
