The PP Tuning RACE CONCEPT rear set for the Honda CB 400F / CB 500F (2013-2018) and CBR 400R / CBR 500R (2013-) is designed for riders who want more precise control, stronger support and a more sport-focused riding position from this lightweight sport platform without losing its everyday usability. On these bikes, the advantage is not brute power but clarity, agility and how well the motorcycle responds to rider input. That is exactly why a well-developed rear set makes such a real difference in fast road riding and more committed sport use. This version is intended for reverse / GP shift, which better suits a more active riding style and allows cleaner shift action in sportier use. On lighter machines such as the CB 500F and CBR 500R, the difference is especially noticeable when the rider wants to keep a smoother rhythm through faster direction changes and while riding with more lean angle. Compared with the stock footpegs, the set brings more focused ergonomics, clearer lever feel and more scope to fine-tune rider position without compromising stiffness. Construction follows the standard of the RACE CONCEPT line. All components are CNC-machined from high-strength EN AW-7075 T6 aluminium alloy, the levers are precisely mounted on bearings for smooth and confident action, and both brake and shift levers can be adjusted independently to suit boot size and rider preference. The full assembly uses high-strength steel TORX fasteners, laser marking and a hard anodised finish for long-term durability. The technical anti-slip peg profile helps keep the rider’s boot secure, and the levers can be fitted with optional folding toe pieces. Colour styling is possible through interchangeable protective parts, footpegs and lever-end pieces. For brake light function, an external hydraulic pressure switch must be used.
