The PP Tuning RACE CONCEPT rear set for Yamaha R6 (2006–2016) in reverse / GP shift form is built as a pure race solution for a bike that earned almost legendary status in circuit use. On the R6, speed comes from precision, rhythm and confidence on entry much more than from brute force. That is why strong foot support and clean shift action are such important parts of the overall setup. This version is optimised exclusively for GP shift, making gear changes more natural and smoother when riding hard at lean. Compared with the stock footpegs, it brings a much more focused rider triangle, clearer bike connection and the ability to fine-tune foot position without sacrificing assembly stiffness. Nine adjustment positions in an approximate range of 10 to 35 mm up and back give the rider room to tailor the fit to track layout, boot size and riding style. All components are developed, tested and manufactured under the PP Tuning name. The engineering is based on long-term experience from professional motorsport and endurance racing. Both brake and shift levers run on Ø22 mm ball bearings, the assembly is CNC-machined from high-strength EN AW-7075 T6 aluminium alloy and weight-optimised through FEA simulation in ANSYS. Footpegs with a special anti-slip profile tested in EWC / 24h Le Mans conditions maintain secure grip even in the wet. The rear set does not include a brake-light activation mechanism, so a pressure switch is recommended if brake light function is required. Colour personalisation of the linkage, immediate spare-parts availability and the Unbreakable Guarantee complete the package.
