The PP Tuning RACE CONCEPT rear set for Yamaha YZF-R3 (2015–) is developed as a precise control solution for a lightweight supersport platform focused on clarity, balance and rider confidence. The design provides firm foot support and natural interaction with the motorcycle during sporty riding and training sessions. The yamaha r3 rearsets supports both standard (OEM) and GP-style (reverse) shift configurations, making it suitable for road use as well as circuit practice. Compared to stock foot controls, it offers improved lever feedback and the ability to fine-tune rider position without sacrificing rigidity. Component geometry is developed using load calculations and structural simulations in ANSYS software. This approach ensures high durability while keeping overall weight low, which is essential for maintaining agile handling characteristics. The concept is based on experience gained in professional racing environments. These foot controls are influenced by data and feedback from teams competing in World Superbike, IDM, Isle of Man TT and Endurance 24h Le Mans.
