The PP Tuning RACE CONCEPT rear set for the Yamaha YZF-R7 (2026-) in reverse shift configuration is aimed at riders who want a sharper, more direct and more track-focused riding position. On the new-generation R7, that makes a lot of sense, because reverse shift, stronger foot support and cleaner mechanical feedback all work together to suit fast road riding and regular track use. Compared to the stock footrests, RACE CONCEPT delivers a firmer platform, a more secure foot position and clearer response through both brake and shift input. At pace, it helps stabilise the rider on corner entry, supports more active body movement and adds confidence when clean, accurate control matters most. Reverse shift also better suits aggressive riding, where cleaner upshifts in lean are a practical advantage. The construction uses CNC-machined 7075 T6 aluminium, a hard anodised finish and a technical anti-slip peg profile for strong grip. A key part of the feel comes from the pair of double-sealed 22 mm bearings, which keep lever action exceptionally smooth and accurate even under hard use. Lever reach can also be adjusted independently to suit boot size and riding style. This version is intended for the model with quickshifter and remains fully compatible with the stock brake light.
