The PP Tuning RACE CONCEPT rear set for Honda CBR 600RR (2003–2006) in reverse / GP shift form is meant as a dedicated sport solution for riders who want to get the most out of this generation of 600 on circuit. On a CBR 600RR from this era, speed is built on flow, line accuracy and clean shifting at lean. That is exactly why GP shift makes so much sense when the pace rises, braking comes later and the bike is being used properly hard. This version is built around a different mounting logic than the stock arrangement. The side stand must be removed and replaced by an insert supplied with the kit, and the shift mechanism is mounted in its place. That gives the whole setup a cleaner, more track-focused character. The rider gets a firmer and more direct mechanical feel at the gearbox, and the rear set moves further away from all-round road logic toward genuine circuit intent. Both brake and shift levers run on Ø22 mm ball bearings, the structure is CNC-machined from high-strength EN AW-7075 T6 aluminium alloy and offers 9 adjustment positions in an approximate 10 to 35 mm up-and-back range. Combined with fine lever adjustment for boot size and a footpeg profile tested in EWC / 24h Le Mans conditions, the result is a very secure and readable connection to the bike even at serious pace. The rear set does not include a brake-light activation mechanism, so a pressure switch is recommended if brake light function is required. The linkage can be colour-personalised through replaceable guards, footpegs and brake / shift lever ends.
